Classes begin the week of January 5th, 2025 and go through the week of February 9th, 2025. This course offers classes to choose from at the John C. Tune Airport and we are confident that we will help you obtain your dream of flying no matter your schedule.
Two options to choose from:
Saturdays, 9AM-12PM and Wednesdays, 6PM-9PM at John C Tune Airport
Tuesdays, 6PM-9PM and Thursdays 6PM-9PM at John C Tune Airport

Frequency Change Aviation offers a 6-week course designed to prepare you for passing the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Private Pilot Knowledge Exam, one of the requirements for obtaining a private pilot certificate.

- Week 1: Airplanes and Aerodynamics; Airplane Instruments, Engines, and Systems
- Week 2: Airports, Air Traffic Control, and Airspace; Federal Aviation Regulations
- Week 3:Airplane Performance and Weight and Balance; Aeromedical Factors and Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM)
- Week 4: Aviation Weather; Aviation Weather Services
- Week 5: Navigation: Charts, Publications, Flight Computers; Navigation Sytems
