Commercial Time Building
Frequency Change Aviation is the only aviation center in Nashville and the surrounding area offering a time building program for commercial pilots to achieve their 250-hour minimums.
Helping aspiring commercial pilots achieve their flight minimums per 14 CFR 61.129. In order to receive a Commercial Pilot License, all aspiring pilots must complete 250 total flight hours.
How it Works
You can fly solo, or we can pair you with another pilot that’s also looking to build time for commercial minimums, helping you save money on building your time. Bring a pair of foggles and trade time flying under the hood, while the other acts as safety pilot. Under the current regulations, this allows both you and your flying partner to log PIC time.
Available Aircraft
Our most economical time building aircraft is our Cessna 150 and its 100-hp Lycoming O-200, fully equipped for day or night VFR. It has 550 pounds of useful load available, and the fuel tanks carry 22.5 gallons of usable fuel. Splitting costs offers you the opportunity to build your time as low as $68 per hour!
Additional Aircraft Features:
Our Cessna 150 has a single place Garmin GTR-225 NAV/COM radio, a Garmin GTX-327 Transponder, and a touch-screen VFR only Garmin Aera 660 GPS with active weather and ADS-B In and Out for traffic!
